In accordance with the letter of the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Ecology and Climate of the Kyrgyz Republic in 4 (Chui, Naryn, Issyk-Kul and Talas) regions of the country in September-October, trainings were held for employees of the central office and territorial administrations of the SCEC  on informing and the use of the International Aarhus Convention (OK) in their direct environmental work.

The trainings were passed by employees of the department of environmental conventions and external relations of the SCEC, territorial inspectors and environmental services, employees of nature conservation parks and reserves. For them, a complete package of materials on the Aarhus Convention, goals and objectives, provisions, rules and methods for the implementation of the Aarhus Conventionin Kyrgyzstan, the rights and obligations of state bodies for the implementation of the Aarhus Convention, public participation in this process, the use of justice in resolving issues related to the observance of environmental rights were presented.
