From April 23 to April 29, the Aarhus Centers of Kyrgyzstan, with the support of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, organized a series of mobile training sessions for school and university students in the cities of Bishkek, Naryn, and Cholpon-Ata. The primary objective of the event was to encourage youth to treat the country’s natural resources with care, provide knowledge on necessary conservation measures, and explain the application of the international Aarhus Convention and the activities of the Aarhus Centers network in Kyrgyzstan. An environmental expert with extensive experience in ecological education and awareness-raising was invited to lead the sessions.

On April 23, the first session was held for students at the Naamatov Naryn State University in Naryn. Presentations titled “Protecting the Environment and Conserving Water Resources” and “Activities of the Naryn Aarhus Center in 2025” were shared with the students.

On April 24, a training session themed “Harmony of Life: Water, Earth, Life” was conducted for pupils of the Osmonov Secondary School in Cholpon-Ata.

On April 29, a training titled “Involving Youth in Preserving a Favorable Environment for Regional Residents” took place at the Skryabin Kyrgyz National Agrarian University for students from two schools in the Chuy region.
