Environmental competition among students
Aarhus Centers make attracting young people to actively pay attention to respect for the environment one of the main directions in their activities. For this purpose, various methods and ways of cooperation are used.
Thus, in October-November this year, the Aarhus Centers held Olympics among students studying at various universities in the country. The Olympiad was organized by the Aarhus Centers in cooperation with the leadership of universities with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek. Before the holding, the Regulations on the Olympics were developed, with the help of which the holding procedure was determined. The Olympics itself was held in the cities of Karakol, Naryn, Talas and Bishkek in 2 stages. The first stage was carried out at the university itself among students studying there. Then 5 winners from each university are determined and they participate in the inter-university Olympiad.
Thus, in Bishkek, the Olympics were held at the Kyrgyz State University. Arabaev, at the Kyrgyz National University named after Balasagyn and at the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after Scriabin. Then the winners of the inter-university round took part in the second round.
Students from Issyk-Kul State University took part in Karakol. Tynystanov, in Naryn – Naryn State University named after. Naamatova, in Talas – Talas Regional Lyceum Complex.
During the Olympics, participants presented their works at a high artistic and oratorical level, presenting their vision of the need to improve the environment with the active participation of people.
Based on the results of the 2nd stage of the competition, the winners in 3 nominations received prizes and certificates. Some Olympiad participants who did not receive prizes were also encouraged, but their work was noted by the competition commissions.
This event received great approval among the students and was held with great enthusiasm.
