Biotechnical activities
On November 9, 2018, in the village of Out-Say in Jalal-Abad region Aarhus Center Osh, with the financial support of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, organized meeting for residents, representatives of the Regional Society of Hunters and Fishermen of Jalal -Abad region, members of the NGO “Alan-Too” in the amount of 20 people.
During the meeting, participants received information and skills on conducting biotechnical activities for wild animals and reintracted marals from the Naryn State Reserve.
Also at the meeting, the participants were distributed the “Hunting Minimum” guide, released with the financial support of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek. The head of the NGO “Alan-Too” N. Turgunaliev was handed a compass, a first-aid kit and a flashlight.
After the meeting, a team of 5 people went to the site Baltyrkan for biotechnical activities. During the monitoring of the deer and the implementation of measures, the group delivered salt and feed to specially prepared salt licks and feeders. Two photo traps installed by the Alan-Too NGO in the framework of the project “Reintraction of the deer in Kyrgyzstan” were installed. Monitoring of reintracted marals was carried out. During the event, participants tracked 8 mountain goats and 2 marals.
