Environmental monitoring took place in Chuy region
From July 22 to 24, 2022, the staff and experts of the Aarhus Center in Bishkek, with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, monitored the water conditions in the Ala-Archa and Alamedin rivers of the Chui region, which affect the environment and the well-being of the inhabitants of the capital. For this, water was taken in the Ala-Archa River in the village of Baitik, in the area of the film studio and behind the BChK in the area of the village of Prigorodnoye, and in the Alamedin River – in the village of Arashan, in the area of the Vostok-5 microdistrict and behind the BChK in the area of the old bus station. That is, water was taken at the entrance, in the center and at the exit of the city of Bishkek.
Laboratory studies of the state of water in the rivers will be examined by qualified specialists of the laboratory of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The results of the analysis will be published on the website of the Aarhus Center and will be transferred to interested parties from the Bishkek City Hall and environmental services (sanitary and epidemiological station, Chui and Bishkek regional departments of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Health and others).
