On June 6, 2022, the Aarhus Center in Osh and the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Natural Geography of Osh State University (Osh State University) held a meeting dedicated to the Year of Protection of Mountain Ecosystems and Climate Resilience in the Kyrgyz Republic, the International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development, International Biodiversity Day and World Environment Day.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Geography, teachers and students.

Aarhus Center specialists showed video films “Creation of artificial glaciers”, “Preservation of the mountains of Central Asia”, “Ecology at a height” and informed about the activities of the Aarhus Center.

At the end of the event, books and posters in the field of ecology were handed over to the library of the Faculty of Natural Geography of Osh State University. Aarhus Center specialists answered the questions of students and teachers.
