Meetings with regional publics were held in Naryn and Issyk-Kul
On April 11, in the village of Baetovo, Ak-Taalinsky district, Naryn region, a round table was held, organized by the Naryn Aarhus Center with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek. It was attended by the head of the apparatus of the district state administration, representatives of the state nature reserve (SNP) “Bugu-Maral”, employees of the Ala-Buginsky, Kosh-Dobinsky, Kara-Burgonsky and Baetov aiyl okmotu, employees of the WUA (Water Users Association) of the region.
Manager of the Naryn Aarhus Center Kalmuratov S. presented information on the activities of the Aarhus Center and the implementation of the Aarhus Convention in the region. He also spoke and presented the work done by the Aarhus Center over four years.
Representative of the State Nature Reserve “Bugu Maral” Kyrbashev Zh. also informed those present about the activities of the reserve, about successful implemented projects and shared plans for the future. And the representative of the Naryn regional department of the environmental supervision service under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision (MPRETN), A. Mortukov, presented the activities of his organization in his speech. The round table participants asked their questions to representatives of the above organizations.
April 17 in the village. Kyzyl – Suu Jeti – Oguz district, Issyk-Kul region, a round table was held in the assembly hall of the aiyl okmotu, organized by the Issyk-Kul Aarhus Center with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek.
The round table was attended by the head of the Kyzyl-Suu aiyl okmotu R. Eshmambetov, the head of the municipal enterprise “Tazalyk-Kyzyl-Suu” R. Kenenbaev, the leading specialist of the Issyk-Kul regional department of the Ministry of Economics and Technology of the Kyrgyz Republic S. Sooronbaev, the director of the NGO “Izumrud Tazalyk Service” A. Osmonbaeva, senior lieutenant of the Jeti-Oguz District Department of Internal Affairs Ishenbek uulu Adilet, chairmen of neighborhood committees, deputies of the village kenesh. The purpose of the round table is to provide the public with information about the principles of the Aarhus Convention, about the activities of the Issyk-Kul Aarhus Center for 2022-2023, to discuss the environmental problems of the Kyzyl-Suu aiyl okmotu, to provide information about the work done by government agencies to solve environmental problems.
Based on the results of the meetings, various proposals were made to improve the activities of all structures in environmental matters.
