On February 8, 2023, the second technical meeting was held in the building of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic to discuss the Implementation Plan for NDC measures in the Infrastructure sector. This meeting was held within the framework of the UNDP project under the coordination of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, a Plan for the implementation of measures for NDC, developed by an independent expert, and included in the general Plan of NDC, which was adopted in 2021 and finalized this year, was discussed. A total of 38 measures in this sector were presented and indicators were developed for each of them and responsible ministries and departments were selected for their implementation.

The discussion was fruitful and with great attention from interested parties. Proposals were made both from the public and from interested ministries. At the end of the meeting, it was proposed to send to all ministries and departments a well-developed Plan for the implementation of NDC for additional measures. After that, another meeting will take place, at which an updated Plan will be presented.
