On May 26, 2018, the Aarhus Center in Bishkek, in cooperation with the Naryn Territorial Department of Environmental Protection, SAEPF conducted an environmental action in Naryn, where students and teachers from Naryn State University and college students from the same university took part. The action was held in territory of the city park and with a number of roadside sites. In the course of action, up to 70 people participated, during which garbage was collected: about half a ton on the territory of up to 5 hectares. This action was conducted within the framework of the coming events in accordance with the state program “Tazo Jasho” and is dedicated to the upcoming 150th anniversary of the city of Naryn.

At the end of the action, the Aarhus Center conducted an introductory seminar for students of the University and students of the college on the basics of applying the principles of the Aarhus Convention in Kyrgyzstan, introduced the activities of the Center and informed about joint plans to be implemented in the near future in the Naryn region.
