On April 1, 2016, Aarhus Centre in Bishkek, together with students of the Faculty of Geography, Environment and Tourism of the Kyrgyz National University on behalf of Zh.Balasagyna and Public Fund “Clean Issyk-Kul” held “School hour on protection of the environment” for pupils of school – gymnasium №2 in the village Novopavlovka.

At school hour Aarhus Centre representatives spoke about the history of the Aarhus Convention and the principles and provisions of the Convention, on how to implement the Convention in the Kyrgyz Republic and the activities of the Aarhus Centres in Kyrgyzstan.
The representatives of the Public Fund “Clean Issyk-Kul” for students show a video presentation about the problem of pollution and ways of cleaning up the lake Issyk-Kul. The Students of KNU presented information about the environment in Kyrgyzstan, on the pollution problems of our country. Moreover, the students presented the running of the project on April 23, 2016 on a large-scale work day dedicated to the World Day of the land and the international campaign “March of parks”.
