On October 29, 2021, in the conference hall of the Bishkek City hotel, the Aarhus Center conducted a training for the public, private sector and experts on the topic “Monitoring of reporting and verification of actions on NDCs”.

This training is the final event held within the framework of the SGP/GEF/UNDP project “Raising awareness and involvement of civil society in updating the Nationally Determined Contributions of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Paris Agreement of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change”.

Three presentations were made to the participants of the training: A.Nurbekov, head of the Aarhus Center, presented information on the implementation of the project, “National System of Monitoring, Reporting and Verification on Mitigation” (MRV)” was presented by the head of the expert group “Mitigation” of the project A.Temirbekov and “National System of Monitoring, Reporting and Verification on Adaptation” (MRV)” was presented by the head of the expert group “Adaptation” of the project V.Grebnev.

During the presentations, several questions were asked by the participants of the training, to which the necessary answers were given by the presenters.

At the end of the training, many participants expressed gratitude to the organizers of the training and the experts who provided complete information for use during the implementation of the approved ONUV 2.
