On June 16, 2023, a training on the topic “Effective use of forestry lands of the Kyrgyz Republic was held in the village of Ananyevo for employees of the forestry of the Issyk-Kul region. Legislative acts on the regulation of forest issues” organized by the Issyk-Kul Aarhus Center. The training was attended by employees of the Issyk-Kul and Tyup forestry enterprises. The purpose of the training is to teach forest legislation on the effective use of forest lands, to improve the professional level of foresters.

Manager of the Issyk-Kul Aarhus Center S.Tursunakunov gave information to the participants about the Aarhus Convention, about the work of the Issyk-Kul Aarhus Center for 2021-2022, answered the questions of the participants.

Then the trainer S. Chukumbaev told the participants about the regulatory legal acts of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of forestry, the Forest Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the following Regulations: on the Forest Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, on the State Forest Guard of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Rules for Fire Safety in the Forests of the Kyrgyz Republic , on reforestation and growing plantations of fast-growing and walnut tree species, on the rules for the release of standing timber in the forests of the Kyrgyz Republic, on the Procedure for conducting forest management in the Kyrgyz Republic, on the Procedure for calculating the amount of damage for damage to land, on the Procedure for the use and disposal of the state forest fund, on the Development Concept forest industry of the Kyrgyz Republic for the period up to 2040.

During the training, the participants of the training raised questions of interest: the lease of forest fund lands, payment of rent, organization of nurseries for growing seedlings, violation of pastures as a result of grazing, about the activities of entrepreneurs in the water protection zones of rivers, fire safety in forests, garbage problems in forests.

At the end of the training, the participants answered post-test questions and voiced their suggestions. According to the results of the training, the participants were awarded certificates.
