April 22, 2016 in the office of the Information Aarhus Centre in Osh branch of CAREC in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Aarhus Centre in Osh held a Round table on the subject “Discussion of possible interaction of the Regional Environmental Center in Central Asia with NGOs in the Kyrgyz Republic” for non-governmental organizations of Osh. The round table was attended by 12 representatives of non-governmental organizations Osh.

Branch Director of CAREC in the Kyrgyz Republic M.Seytkasymov made three presentation: “The Role of CAREC in terms of increasing environmental problems and challenges for sustainable development”, “The concept of cooperation with NGOs and CAREC in Central Asia” and “CAREC Information on activities and projects in Kyrgyzstan”.

Project coordinator of CAREC K.Matraimov made a presentation on “Application of integrated water resources management approaches and implementation of ecosystem services.”
Presenters answered the questions of the participants. The round table also discussed the issues of cooperation.

At the end of the meeting the participants of the round table in the framework of international action “March for Parks” planted seedlings of archa near the office of the Aarhus Center.
