On April 7, 2023, the Issyk-Kul Aarhus Center, with the financial support of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, within the framework of the National Campaign “Green Heritage”, held an action to plant seedlings on the territory of the “Cholpon-Ata Oluya” mausoleum in Cholpon-Ata.

The action was attended by the collectives of the Cholpon-Ata City Hall, municipal enterprises “Tazalyk”, “Zelenstroy”, “Cholpon-Ata Vodokanal” and residents of Cholpon-Ata. In total, about 100 people took part. During the campaign, 15 Tien Shan firs and 65 birches were planted. In addition, many streets of the city of Cholpon-Ata were cleaned.

On behalf of the leadership of Cholpon-Ata, the Vice-Mayor of Cholpon-Ata, A.Turdubekov, expressed gratitude to the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek and the Issyk-Kul Aarhus Center for organizing the action, wished everyone to be careful and attentive to the environment, love nature and maintain the cleanliness of the city.
