In October, the Aarhus Centres, with the support of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, organized a debate-olympiad among university students in the cities of Bishkek, Karakol, Talas, and Naryn. A large number of students participated in the event, demonstrating keen interest in studying and applying knowledge in ecology.

The students presented their projects developed during the competition, demonstrated quick wit in answering questions from the jury, and showcased practical developments that can be applied in everyday life for environmental protection.

The winners were awarded souvenirs and diplomas on behalf of the Olympiad organizers and the universities’ administrations.
