On July 31, 2015 In city Naryn of Naryn area was conducted a round table on a subject «Urgent environmental issues and problems: value of participation of the public and awareness of the population», organized by the OSCE Center in Bishkek and the Aarhus Centre in Bishkek with the assistance of the State agency of environmental protection and forestry (SAEPF) under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In the work of a round table more than 50 invited participants took part, among which there were representatives of government institutions of Naryn regional administration and city hall of Naryn, local authorities (ayil okmot), territorial administration of SAEPF and GIETB, the director of national wildlife sanctuary and parks, members of the media, NGO, OO, OF and civil community.

Participants of a round table discussed the questions concerning preservation of environment, and also environmental problems in the mining industry, pollution with garbage of park and reserved zones and plans of work of the Aarhus Centre Bishkek.
